Prop. 65 Labeling - NDS works within the guidelines of applicable US federal and state safety requirements, including the Safe Drinking Water and Toxic Enforcement of 1986, also known as California Proposition 65. We have extended that effort with hangtags on our bags with information on responsible sourcing, product safety and a California Proposition 65 warning.
According to the state of California, businesses must provide a warning that appears on a product's label or other labeling for products that may contain any of the 850+ chemicals on California's Prop 65 list.
A Proposition 65 warning label does not mean a product is in violation of any product-safety standards or requirements.
